Default QTP LTs with Stock Cats

I've pretty much decided on the QTP LT headers. However, I don't see how the collector mates up to the stock cat. Is there an "adapter" or do you have to use some other aftermarket cat?

No you cant use the stock Y pipe with Qtp's you can either buy and aftermarket ORY or a catted Y pipe. You could also have something custom fabed up. But the stockers wont work...

You need their Y pipe, its designed to fit correct.

If you havent considered, try Dynatech LT's w/ their y pipe, 1200 through new Era (Sponsor)

Sorry I didn't specify. This is going onto an 82' Corvette with an LSx motor. It most closely resembles an F body setup, except I have a true dual currently using the stock manifolds.

will the qtp lts fit in that car? if so, i'd say custom y-pipe would be your only option.

Hooker LT's require their own y-pipe, also. No longtube hooks up to the stock cats and they never will.

I'll fab my own dual exhaust (as I have now). Didn't know there was no such thing as LTs that connected to the stock cats. Haven't bought anything yet. Still researching.

I don't know if they'll fit into a C4 without modification.

Good luck though.
