Default 100mm MAF IAT Question???

I just got a Lingenfelter 100mm MAF, it has a five pin connecter that includes the IAT in the MAF. The '02-'04 Z06 MAF has the IAT in the MAF also. The question is do I continue to use the old IAT that is in my lid or do I hook up the two wires and use the IAT that is an integral part of the new MAF? For some reason it seems that the plug and play wiring that I've seen favors using IAT in the MAF. Help.

I would suggest using the IAT in the MAF meter, but you can use either. You will probably need the correct adapter harness, but that's about it.

I had a Z06 maf for a while (2002 85mm) and used both (not at the same time) the lid and maf and saw no difference in temp swings on the IAT.

I just talked to my tuner Mike Norris and he told me best to stick with the lid IAT for whatever reason. That's what I had decided earlier today and I had already soldered up the wires before I talked to Mike. Thanks
