Default EDELBROCK vs AFR vs PATRIOT heads

Which bolt on (LS1) head flows the best & which is the least expensive ?

Patriot is less than half the price of the Edelbrocks and AFR's. If you look at peak flow they all flow about the same on the intake. The AFR has better low and mid lift flow and I think the Edelbrocks do too.

Patriots are stock GM heads that have been CNC ported while the Edelbrocks and AFR heads are their own castings. Edelbrocks and AFR have thicker decks.

If price is a concern then the Patriots are hard to beat. Keep in mind there are other companies doing to the GM heads what Patriot is doing. PRC, Livernois, etc.

Patriots, Livernois, and PRC can be had for under a grand while Edelbrocks and AFR are roughly 2200-2300 bucks.
