Got some money!!!
Ok guys i got a little bonus the other day of about 700 dollars.Right now I am driving a 2001 arctic white ss m6. Car is stock including the lid and tb,ls6 intake, stock brakesand chrome zr1's, flowmaster 3inch american thunder(thats what it came with, why the previous owner removed the slp dual dual setup i don't know).I want some bolt-ons, tune, the basics, because its my dd. i comute about 50 miles a day round trip in atl. Eventually i wanna go arh or qtp headers(stepped if i can), vrx4 cam from vengeance, ftraand lid, z06 maf and smooth bellow, larger injectors, and fuel rails, racetronix fuel system, bassani td x setup to gmmg type chambered mufflers through cme and some cutouts, lowering springs, wheels, black or blue manta , mtx custom fit amplified sub box. Basically i have been searching for a good starting point for modding my car, should i just save it and wait till i get more money or buy what i can a piece at a time.Thanx in advance for all of your help and i apologize for this being so long guys

I will be selling my predator diablo sport tuner soon. THAT would be great for your simple tuning needs. I would get a tuner when you start adding bolt ons to your car.
700 wont go that far in the overall pic. I've already spent over 10 grand as it is
It is a habit I need to break lol

oh and port your throttle body!!! you can port it yourself with a dremel or a sponsor may be able to port your throttle body. Last I heard they range from $60-$90 depending on who's porting it. speed engineering and byunspeed have some great deals on headers. there is also a thread for some coated hooker longtubes for 379.99

If you want to leave it on there forever, stainless steel headers are the way to go. Pacesetters have been known to rust out very quickly on the bottom and collectors (not all, but a lot, don't really want to be griped at from someone who has had theirs for awhile and have no rust). I'm going to get either LPP or QTP. They are both pretty good for the price paid. The LPP's will run you $450, get in contact with black2002ws6 to see about availability. The QTP's will pretty well eat up your whole budget at two dollars over your limit from MPH Motorsports, www.mphparts.com.
All that said, I would probably start out with a lid if i were you.
