dynomax bullet dumped off the ORY?
i am wanting to do this, i have the pacesetter LT's and ory (no cats) and i have the flowmaster muffler in the stock location with 3" pipes dumped off of the muffler, i've heard the flowmaster robs horsepower with this setup... i was wanting to hide the exhaust, i just don't like the look of the setup in the back, i know it would be loud but that doesn't bother me any, cops aren't bad around here, anyone running this setup? how does it sound? what size inlet and outlet would i need on the bullet? any of you guys could give me a part # from either summit or jegs that would be great...i know they come in different lenghts..what would i need? but like i said the loudness won't bother me...here is a pic of my current setup...sorry for the quality

Get rid of the flowmaster and run 3 inch duals w/ X-pipe dumped at the axle. Put 2 bullet mufflers before the dump. Same set-up I have and love the sound. Looks good from underneath too like an old muscle car and more free flowing since not having to bend over the axle.

Don't believe all the crap you hear about flowmaster bud. Alot of guys including myself have a muffler from them and have had great results with it. With the mods in sig on pretty much no tune and a burnt wire I put down 395 rwhp. So don't fret. If you have bad rasp, that bullet will clean it up alot. I just wrote up a thread about it not to long ago

i ran an 18" bullet on my orp for a while. sounded good but got alot of interior noise.
ended up putting the Ipipe behind the bullet, then running a 2nd bullet under the trunk with a hidden turndown.
sounded very good even with the cam...minimal rasp but nice rumble.

I have had a bullet dumped at the end of the ORY on two cars...But I've gotten tired of the interior noise so I am going to change the setup to how teke has his.

just to let you know when i hooked up my flowmaster to my ypipe it was quieter than it was when i had stock manifolds and a cat so i cut it back off and braced it so i could have tips to fill the slots on the bumper mow i am looking at a bullet and some pipe to get it further away from me so i can breathe fresh air. and i like hao open y sounds when reved how close does a bullet or two make the car sound to that when at fifty or so going uphill.
