Default Searched but no luck!!!! 1/4 gains from Underdrive pulley

Ive heard .1 to .2 but nothing concrete about that! Some say a noticable SOTP feeling and some say nothing. I went to the track 2/9/08 and with 228R, LT's, 3800 stall, P&P throttle body, LS1 intake, Tru-trac, 4.11's and 28" ET Streets i went 12.90 @ 101.75 with a 1.78 60'!!!! With the heavy *** 20's (75-85#) up front worth probably another .1 if i went to a stock wheel tire combo. now ive added (yesterday) a ls6 intake and i noticed a nice gain in the entire RPM range worth .2 or so!!!! Im asking would i notice the same gain with the pulley? maybe between intake and pulley and tire/wheel up front .4 - .5 gain!

1-2 tenths is pretty average for gains with a pulley.

You're not going to realize near the improvement with a pulley that you did with your ls6 intake. I'd expect around 10rwhp gain, which should equal about a tenth in ET.....certainly nothing you can feel SOTP. You might notice it being a little quicker to rev though.

from more searching it seems to help more with the more mods you have! i could see on a completely stock motor gaining .05 - .1 and modded (cam, headers, ect.) gaining .15-.25 depending on how much power your already making. I guess ill have to test my theory to find exact answers but weather is going to play big role in it too.
