Default corsa clone install questions

I just got my LM2 and I will be putting 2.6" inlet corsa clone tips on it. I test fitted them and they fit around the pipe, but my question is, should I get them welded on or clamp them on? Also, I saw some stuff about replacing the clamps that the exhaust came with. Does anyone know about this, do they fit better or something?

Finally, which tip goes on which side? The long part goes toward the outside right?

Weld or clamp. I would just clamp them. If you weld, make damn sure they are straight and level.

You won't have to weld them solid, just run a short bead on each side. That will make them easier to remove if the need arises!

From looking at mine there doesn't seem to be enough area to clamp them at all. Joshua the guy that sells them on here always recommends welding.
