Default Maping wire????

So your map wire connocts to the back of the intake. I have to extend it to reach the front of my ls2 intake. My question is will there be a problem if i sauder the wires to extend them?

Thanks,
Brad

There will be no problem with this. I accidentally ripped out my map sensor wiring when doing my ls6 intake. I rewired it but when I did it I added a couple extra feet so if I wanted to change it out again it wouldnt be such a bitch finding the wire. Your good to go man. Worked fine for me. If you remember thats when I accidently got coolant in my ports. That was me with the nightmare ls6 install from hell lol

I lengthened mine about 6 inches, used the end off
a spare harness. As long as your work is clean (like
solder, not just twist-n-tape) should be no problems.

I used wire nuts on mine and then taped them up good with electrical. This was over a year ago, they still look good, and no problems. Although if I had a soldering gun at the time that would be the best way.
