Default Where does this vacuum line connects?

There is a small vacuum line which comes out of the large wiring loom which lies above the pass side valve cover,,, this vacuum line has a rubber tip on it to connect to another line,, where is this other line?

If it is a very small diameter, it is a vacuum line for the a/c and heater vents. It connects to the very back of the intake manifold. If you only get air blowing out of the bottom vents and not the vents in the dash, this is usually the reason why. If your getting air coming out of the dash vents then it's probably for something else but there aren't many.

Thank you very much, yea, the line is very small, maybe 1/16" with the rubber boot. Well, looks like I need to crawl up on top of the engine again.

Whats been going on is that I blew up my LS2 engine at a drivers school,,, and now I have a LS2 402 stroker in the car. I am doing all of the final connections, what a pain!

Thabk you for the help again.

Does it plug directly into the intake or does it plug into the T connector from the driver's side?

So the T connector coming from the driver's side? Is that the connector that needs to be plugged?

So what is the thing circled in red in the last pic in post 10? Can I remove that in my conversion? I'm guessing its for emisions and I'm removing all that on my car.

If removed, what do we do with the blue connector?

Just verifying here. Since I have block off plates on my headers, EGR has been removed, right? Since it's been removed, am I supposed to have the gadget that the blue connector plugs into in the last picture? I currently have that gadget, but only one hose coming from it, it's the hose in the first pic with the t-connector. I have that T-connector plugged into the rear of my intake and the single hose (Labeled AC VACUUM above) from the passenger side plugged into it. This is wrong, isn't it? And why do I only have one hose coming off of it when you've got 2 in the pic?

Sorry, was at the track yesterday, 1st time, yess!

You have that pretty much correct.
You only have one hose comming out of that connector(3rd) b/c one gets plugged when you remove the AIR system. (this set of Pix also assumes that, sorry should have qualified them. They assume EGR and AIR are gone).
You actually see another line coming off it in the picture but it is plugged with a screw, if you look close you might see that.

So if you have EGR and AIR gone, and you set it up how you described, you will have it right I believe.

I just put a 92 combo on my SS and i'm getting such a loud vacuum sound coming out of my open air FIPK filter, I'm wondering if i have a vacuum leak somewhere.

Sorry I don't have a definite for you on this one guys.
I know it was part of the AIR removal, but when I was putting in the headers and taking out the emissions, my dad had the AIR side and I had the EGR side so I didn't see all that was done.

Tell you what, if you can't find anywhere with searching, next time I get a chance I'll pull that wire connector and see if it throws a code.
Could prob track down what it is that way.
