Default GM 85mm MAF install w/ SLP lid

Sorry for a simple question, but I did a search and didn't get a clear answer. What size coupler will I need to connect an 85mm GM MAF to an SLP airlid designed for the stock MAF? I saw one reference that both the MAF and the lid are both 98mm external diameter. Is this correct? I think that works out to a somewhat unusual coupler size... ie ~3.6inches. If this is the case, did you guys who have added this expanded a 3.5in coupler?

Thanks.

I have the SLP lid and Delphi 85mm MAF. I went with a 3.75" ID and it fit snug on both. I sent you a PM on a place to look. Good luck.

You will need a tune. Else your air/fuel ratio will be way off.

My SES light came on after about 10 miles or so after having the new MAF installed. I did the reset by unplugging the IAC and TPS from the TB and then reconnected. 10 miles later the light came back on. Luckily I had a friend that did a part throttle tune for cheap.

I have HPTuners and am going to use the correct MAF table, so no worries there.

Here are a couple different views of my setup. Only thing I can think of is the inside diameter (ID) of your coupler is not 3.75". I didn't not have to heat anything up to get to it to fit.

Check the PM I sent you for the specific one that I ordered.
