Default Painted, ceramic, stainless

what is the difference between painted and ceramic? i know stainless outlast them all but what i just want something to last. Ex. hooker has painted, ceramic, and stainless. obv. stainless is better but by how much? does the others corrode that bad?

another question is if i get headers are they all the same with the emissions deal? are they all off road or are there brands out there that are? I live in ohio..

Painted will be rusted in a week. Ceramic will look great for years depending on how much abuse they take and stainless, tho costly will hold up the best. My vote goes to ceramic.

I think if you live near a salty environment, stainless would be the best way to go if you plan on keeping your car a long time. The coated LTs will start flaking eventually, depending on use. Stainless will hold-up the best, at $$$.

Stainless... XS/SSAutochrome are Stainless and cost less than Pacesetter's, and even come with a stainless Y.
