Which Intake with a 224 cam?
Hello. My buddy is putting a 224/224 .561/.561 112 LSA in his 98 A4 Bolt on TA. He currently has a BBK Intake and a P/P TB from New Era. Which intake would see the most HP/TQ? I think he'd be fine with the BBK, but would there be any benefit switching to a FAST 78? I think a FAST 90 would be overkill for a small cam. Also, he has my old 2000 heads going on to. UNTOUCHED heads, not ported, not polished, just bolted on. So basically a 2000 "Cam Only" car. Which intake do you guys think? Thanks.
EDIT: He has a Weiand Intake. Not a BBK. Does that make any difference? Thanks.

I would just run an LS6 if I were on a budget which sounds like you might be. But on a side note throw some .040 gaskets when you have the heads off and than he will see a decent gain in power switching heads.

Yeah, definitely on a budget. The LS6 is beating up on the BBK in the poll. Is the LS6 > BBK or does the BBK just not have a big following? I'm assuming some Cometic .040 gaskets and the 224 would really have no PTV issues, since real men don't check PTV clearence. They just throw it in and go.
