Default How does this even happen?

So I have my IAC and my TPS unplugged at the moment. When I start the car up, it'll rev to 2k-3k all on it's own. While it's driving down the road, I don't even have to put my foot on the gas for it to continue accelerating, but only up to that point. The TB is not stuck open, so how is the engine even able to pull in enough air to keep up that kind of rpm? It does this with the TPS and IAC plugged in as well. Anybody?
