PaceSetter makes a set. I have a set on my ride. Damn Cali and their smog laws...

They are always advertised in GMHTP. In fact they have a pic of them in the mag.

Yeah, JBA will be your best bet...Also, invest in a good y-pipe..the stock one is crap! Then you can turn around and sell your stock catalytic convertors..several people on here pay $145 for them.

i had edelbrock ceramic coated shorties and they fit fine, as long as you still use stock cats. i also had an SLP y pipe, like i said, no fitment issues.

BIGDSZ is right tho, you'll get next to zero gain with them. i noticed more of a difference when i put on a K&N FIPK, than with the shorties....

have you thought at longtubes at all? I haven't ever seen noticeable gains with shorties.

I thought I saw one manufacturer requiring you to cut the stock y pipe.

YES you will see a gain because you have a 1999 f-body. If you had an 01-02 I would say do not bother, but 98-00 manifolds are worse. Also, the stock y-pipe is not as bad as people make it out to be.

Same thing I've heard & read . The 02's have the Z06 exhaust manifolds which flow as good if not better than any of the aftermarket shorties available. Plus you don't have to worry about those damn header leaks .
