Default What to do with $2000?

What should i buy with my tax refund and extra money that I have. Here is what I was thinking. I was also thinking just doing all suspension parts like Koni shocks and strano springs. What should I do? I only have Lid and K&N filter. I want to do the torq arm and relocating bracket because i heard that you can tuck the exhaust up higher with UMI's torq arm. Any input will help. Thanks.

UMI Torq Arm
UMI Torq Arm Relocating Bracket
Texas Speed True Duals
Pacesetter Headers
UMI LCA/PHB poly bushing/Rod end
UMI STB
UMI SFC Boxed Weld In

^ the boxed SFC are going to give u a little less ground clearance than the tubular just a FYI, the list u have looks good maybe some LCA relocation brackets for when you add the strano springs. also I wouldn't spend money on the STB, some say it helps but.... ehh

Headers, Cat back, and suspension. I personally use BMR but pick your poison, they are both sponsors.

yes boxed are stronger but the chances of the tubular sfc breaking or twisting is not very likely ( I have yet to see a thread about it) getting boxed is fine if you want the extra strength I was just pointing out you'd give up some ground clearance, oh and add on some weight but its really up to you.

R ur suspension pieces going to be adjustable? I'm just trying to get a feel for what your plans are for the car. I'm by no means a guru but I do a lot of reading and such and just want to make sure I suggest the parts that are going to fit ur needs for the car.

I'm going with UMI and Strano Suspension parts because I heard so many great things about them. I was going to use BMR, but I just changed my mind. Thanks for the input.

with $2000 you should probably buy better headers than the pacesetters. Look into Kooks, ARH, or even stainless Hookers. Also, ditch the STB and SFC's and focus more on handling parts, like springs, sway bars, LCA's and relocation brackets. Don't forget stuff like tuning, plugs, wires, gaskets etc that go along with the headers.

There are some pretty good suggestions given already, so I'll throw you another option. If you can't decide, you can just send me the money. I'll send you photo updates every month of how much fun I had with it.

Actually, that is probably the best option.

I am going with single adjustable suspension pieces.

this is the best advice one has given you so far.. stainless will out last your car.. and probably you too lol.. if you don't like a whole lot of body roll, sway bars where u want it

If it were me and i was doing it all over again. I would throw that money down on a 12 bolt, 9", or S60. No ****. It doesnt matter what other mods you do to your car.......what good are they gonna do if you still have to launch at idle on street tires and pray your 10 bolt doesnt go BOOM again? This is just my opinion though. I saw a video a while back of a stock LS1 6speed camaro (maybe a catback) running 12.1 @ like 112 or something like that. The only thing he had done to it was a 9" rearend and slicks. He would launch at 4500-6000rpm all day long. I will look for the video.

WOW! Are you sure he didn't have weight reduction done to his car. If you find that video I would like to see that. Thanks for all the input.
