There is no difference between bolting a piece a dog crap, or the LS1 MSD coils to your valve covers.

Both perform the SAME.

After paying what I did for the MSD's and having their horrific failure rate, I'm allow to trash MSD. Back to stock, save your money.

I dont know know about the msc2 coils, but I wouldnt risk it.

From what I've read the wire connections between the two are different.

We've used MSD products for years with great success. That being said, the LS coils are the biggest pieces of **** I've dealt with in a long, long time. I dont know if its their vendor they use thats making them or what, but we've had mulitple failures with them. One dead one with only a few miles on the car. Another one that was causing a bad misfire, and even stalling, and backfiring out the tailpipe. This car was on the dyno, I shut the key off and turned it back on to test some things under the hood, and I hear this strange noise, like a relay clicking real rapidly. Turns out it was one of the coils just buzzing away. Without the car running!!! Just with the key on!!!

I will never buy a set of their coils again regardless of the car.
I put a set on my MKVIII and within a week one of them failed. I know they are different designs but the result was the same.

I dont think theres anything wrong with the majority of their products. It seems isolated to the individual coil packs. Their line of CDs and distributors are just fine.

Maybe, but when a company lets such a piece crap part be sold, I lose all respect for them as a whole.

Thier LS1 coil is sooooo bad, its beyond comprehension.

They sent me 2 back for no charge under warranty also.

I just hope when your replacement fails, it'll be under 12 months, otherwise you'll be buying the replacement(s) next time.
