Default slps new longtube

slp is coming out next week i guess with a new redesigned longtube designed for better fitment and for lowered cars. supposed to still be the 1 3/4 ..... the tech told me they will only be sold with cats y pipe and installation kit at first as a whole package...told me the price should be around the same as the older ones....like 1400 for the package! what do u guys think? would you take these over someof the other headers in the ball park like kooks, american racing header, etc?

For $1,400 I'd rather go with QTP's or Kook's

the only good thing SLP makes is a front grille and oil pump.

SLP sounds like they are making a complete kit and not just a set of headers, for complete kits, its stillbetween 1200 (rare) to 1500 (more common now adays)

Not everyone wants a catted Y that will hurt sales. I am looking at headers now and will likely go with QTPs fir the price. The quality I have seen with SLP is good but overpriced IMO.

$1400 for ceramic coated stainless and a complete installation kit is not that far off. Plus it looks like the y pipe has a proper merge collector. Does anyone know if the y pipe is stainless?

My Kooks headers and TSP true duals cost me $1,250. Money deff better spent than on SLP's stuff.
