90mm Holley TB, can get full throttle! help

Default 90mm Holley TB, can get full throttle! help

I did a 6.0L L92 carb/efi elbow. I used a Holley 90mm tb. It looks great but I cant seem to get full throttle out of it with the pedal!

anyone have any Idea's before I break something trying to find out...

someone has put one of these throttle bodies on a F body before... and had the same problem

If the pedal does not have enough draw but there is
slack at the ball-end in the cab, then bend the pedal
arm to take it up.

If you have no slack but the full draw is too little to
turn the pulley fully, try adding a new hole (if the
Holley has interchangeable pulleys) located closer
to the pulley edge where the cable sits, and closer
to the ball-socket of it. You're looking to decrease
the "effective radius" and get more angle for less
draw.

I had this kind of trouble from my TCS pulley-cluster
binding up the cable draw and the new hole trick
got me to barely full open, from about 3/4" short on
draw originally. But I eventually went to non-TCS
throttle & cruise cables anyway.

so you think I will have to go with a non tcs cable?? and then i might be able to adjust it??

and let me know Dlove so I can get this thing tuned friday

I think i've seen this in the conversions section. Some use a different pedal, some a Lokar cable.

I adjusted everything today, and I am guess I am at around 90% throttle now... any idea's??
