Talking New Exhaust Pics, Sound Clips, and SPL Readings

About one week ago i installed
-FTP Lid
-QTP Headers
-QTP ORY
-Corsa 3.5
-Cat delete
-!AIR
-!EGR
-And a couple of free mods.

I was asked to post pictures and sounds, i have a computer SPL meter also that used. NO THE CAR HAS NOT BEEN TUNED YET, i am wating for a few other mods to come in.

Also i am going to install a KOOKS resonator this Tuesday, i will do the same thing again with it. (Pics, Sound Clips, & SPL readings)
EDIT: The reason for the KOOKS is because there is a few sounds that i do not like and the resonator should take care of them.

This thread is a take off of:
https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthrea...581&highlight=

To start off with i was in the drive way measuring the db so i was reving it, not even 1 minute later my mother called me on my cell phone (i am 18) and she asked if that was me reving the car now mind you she was 3/4 of a mile away as the crow flys.

The First pics are of the SPL readings:
Start up was about at 97db

This was a Rev to 4k, and the reading was 142db

Sound Clips Left Channel Only Dew To Octaves.
Give it at least 45 seconds to load

crap.....I'm in trouble. I will have almost this exact same setup. Hooker LT's, Hooker ORY, Dynomax bullet in the I pipe and the Corsa 3.5. I was hoping to be quieter than my 2.5" true dual, catted H pipe with GMMG mufflers, over the axle. That setup was 128 dB on a 4K rev, 15 feet from the back of the car.

well, at least the car is fast....the law will have to atleast run me down first!

Back from the dead...
A few days ago i installed some KOOKS bullet cats in my ORY pipe, cut the pipe, and TIG welded the cats in.
It cleaned up the sound some, some of the RASP is gone, but i liked it a bit better before.
