different cat location between 99 and 02 okay, on my 99 the driver side has the manifold then the cat bolted to it, and on the passenger side it has the manifold then a lil round precat looking thing bolted to it and then the cat is under the floorboard/seat. did gm change all that on the 02s because a kid gave me the cats he just pulled off and the driverside is the same, but the passenger is different.
