How hard is it to istall the Pacesetter LT's on a 99 SS, do you have to drop the motor?

no you don't, you can actually do it with jackstands. my buddy installed mine and all he did was jack my car up and sit it on jackstands and they just slide right in from the bottom is what he said. don't forget to do your motor mounts while your in there

I think my pacesetters took me like 20 minutes for both sides once I got all the stock bullshit out of the way. They are cake. Make sure its high though.

I had to jack up the engine a bit in order to get the driver side header to slip in....other than that no problems.

That may have been because you didn't cut the casting tab on the engine block?

Its not as easy as everyone says it is. But its not hard. Just time consuming. If you must do it on jack stands make sure they go up high enoug to clear the header on an angle. Expect an 8 hour our more install for your first time.

Yep...just get it good and high, and you MAY need to grind the tab. I have had a couple sets go right in without any extra work.
