Default ls6 swap info....

hello...im swapping to an ls6 intake.i here of people producing 10-15 hp by just this swap. is this true???and will i see even more "NOTICABLE" power through a ported t/b??as mines stock.im doing a head and cam package and was also wodering if anyone feels the ls6 swap will be even "MORE" effective due to the better application.or am i just gonna still see the 10 -15 hp gain.i hope you all know what im tryin to ask...lol.i know heads and cam should put me around the 70hp gain or so,but with the intake am i gonna see more than 10-15hp out of it?(as apposed to a stock head and cam motor).or will i just feel more power from it throughout the power band(as most people say they feel the difference up top). thanx....ill look my thread up,but would rather get some input in my pm area.....

some people are too lazy to pm.. you can also subscribe to your thread.

and to answer your question yes. i think any Intake that is bigger than the LS1 is worth doing, ls6, fast 90/90, etc. And through a ported T/B i dont think youll see a "night and day" difference".

get the intake, dont choke your H/C setup

Default yup

i understand that part....im just wondering how much more effective it will be with head and cam package...as apposed to without.like if i gained 12hp out of it in stock trim.....could i possibly gain 18hp out of it with head and cam package......

Honestly if you are getting heads I would get the 92mm because the 90 will be discontinued and make more power over the ls6 and flow better

if you did head and cam package with a ls1 intake u will notice a difference but like they said your choking it, the ls6 or the fast 90 your getting will flow tons better for a heads and cam setup
