SLP induction kit or just lid and filter?
Would yall buy the SLP induction kit "lid, filter, bellow, induction housing" or just the lid and filter for a bolt on 98 z? What kind of difference is expected in gains? Thanks

just get a lid and SSRA kit of FTRA kit the K/N is only nice because you can reuse it but if you oil it too much its can gunk up your maf and make it run crapy till you cleen it haha.
When I'm at the track I just take the filter out anyway , another reason to have a screen in your maf haha.

The problem with the SLP kit is that it is not a ram air kit since the opening to their duct work is sitting half way up the a/c condensor and not in the path of oncoming air. The FTRA is a true ram air kit and works VERY well. You can check out:

+1 trust me a lid and filter will do and u could slip a bellow on if u wanted to wont hurt. ram air is nice but its the fact that u have to be going down the road at a good speed to really make it work, if your wanting "ram air" buy a magna charger, if your just wanting good flow like i said a lid and filter will do
