Default What bolt on is the best...??

Wanting some feedback on which is better, a M.A.F. , or a Underdrive Pulley ?And also which brands of each have you guys had good results with. I have been thinking about descreening the stock M.A.F. since the car is never driven in the rain or snow. It is a 2000 with only 7,000 miles on it and it is only driven when the weather is nice. Have any of you had any issues with doing this ? Is my best option to descreen the stock M.A.F. and buy an underdrive ?

2000 WS6 / SLP LID-smooth bellows /Bypass Coolant line on T/B / SLP 160 deg. Thermostat / Bassani True Duals

DONT take that screen off! Doing so will not help you at all but it can hurt. UD pulley is worthy but from your sig maybe you should think about LT's just a idea. But out of the 2 in your post I would go with the pulley.

Dont descreen your maf no point one a mostly stock car thier is a time and a place to do somthing diffrent with your maf though your just not thier. I have an underdrive pully but its mostly for belt slipping reasons it probly good for 3 to 5 hp if that.
what about Gears for your rear ?? IF an auto get some 3.73's( or a stall and shift kit w/tranny oil cooler) manual get 4.10's
SSRA kit is a good one.
other than that I'd go L/T headers then cam then heads then suspension last haha.

Don't descreen. I would wait and get a set of LTs when you can afford it. I run an UDP, but it is one of those 'every little bit counts' modifications.

Get your stock TB ported if you didnt already...I removed my maf screen and had no problems with it. Aftermarket maf's are junk.

This also depends if money is a factor. The best bang for your buck can go a long ways in the grand scheme of things. If not, a magnacharger is your best "bolt-on".

If I had to choose between those 2 I would go with a pulley. As far as brand goes I have used ASP and Powerbond with the same results.

its the right combination of all the little things that have worked best for me. I have the pulley, smooth bellow and a lid no headers. A Magnaflow muffler no catback. A 3,600 vig and 3.73s. Of course I have the susp stuff and tires. See my sig for the results.
I'm just saying don't think about the one individual mod it's a combo.

Definitely LT's. Save up some money and get a good set of stainless ones.
