Rear exhaust torque arm crossmember does not fit after header y-pipe install

Default Rear exhaust torque arm crossmember does not fit after header y-pipe install

installed hooker 1-3/4 headers and y-pipe and now it seems like the exhaust hangs to low to reinstall the small rear crossmember that looks like it protects the exhaust and torque arm. any advise would be greatly appreciated. Do I need it? do I need a custom one? spacers? etc. thanks

thanks guys. i talked to people and looked at installs online and i couldnt find someone who addressed it. I did see one install where the people fabricated a custom one, but that was it.

You can replace it with a nice one that includes a drive shaft safety loop and more clearance for your exhaust. Here is one from BMR:

thanks for the pic. driveshaft loop and replacement member, looks like the way to go
