i have a 2500 GM truck with the 6.0L. if i take the heads off and mill them down.
frist how much can i mill to get like a 11:1 compression ( run pump gas)
second if i put a cam in it. how much fly wheel hosre could i have.

i dont think you could mill those heads enough to get 11:1 compression. I have seen a couple articles where guys install milled 5.3 heads on the 6.0 lq4 to gain quite a bit of compression. I would find a set of 5.3L heads, and do a good cam, headers, intake, etc and you should easily see 400-450hp

Just switch over to the ls6 head (243 I believe), its flow is similar to the 317's on the 6.0 but the combustion chamber is 64-65cc (down from the 70cc 317's)

5.3 heads are 61cc chambers
