5.3 verses 5.7 Crank ((Which is stronger?))

Default 5.3 verses 5.7 Crank ((Which is stronger?))

Hey guys my buddy told me the 5.3 truck crank at 3.622 is stronger then the stock LS1 crank which is also 3.622 Is this true? if not what are the diffrences if any between the two ??? Any info WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED !!!Thanks BARNAT!!

Scroll down and look at the Crankshaft section. It doesn't say much about them, but they seem to be the same just different part numbers and bob weights.

Thats what i was looking for and even learned a little more too!! Like about 98 blocks only being bored to .004 and ls1s to .010. Some food for the brain LOL!!Thanks guy!BARNAT

So from what I read as long as you re-balance the 5.3 crank you can use it in a 5.7?

I have never heard of any difference in strength. The stock LS1 crank will take pretty much anything you can throw at it.
