How good are....
The Penzoil Platinum or Valvoline Syntec full synthetic oil products? I have been running RP since i purchased my ride but i've heard this oil isnt good because it is a race oil and not really designed for daily use. Is there any truth to this?

I've heard RP is a god oil as long as you don't use it for long intervals. I used to use amsoil in my 346, but i'm jusdt using plain conventioanl in the new motor for now. once I'm done breaking it in i'll most likely go back to amsoil

I use Penzoil High-Mileage 10w-30; my baby has 88K miles on her. It helped with the pistion-slap oil consumption issue a little and it makes me feel better b/c i want to condition my seals the best i can to get the most out of my motor before i have to rebuild it.

I would highly suggest the German Castrol. It's a great oil. Here's a link to an analysis done on it in an LS1. https://ls1tech.com/forums/generation-iii-internal-engine/280043-newest-feb-22-oil-analysis-my-c5-using-german-castrol.html
