hooker catback (a little Dissappointed)
well after driving around with open headers for a few months I bit the bullet and bought the hooker catback. When I first cranked the car I almost cried. It was soooooo quiet. I can barely tell its running even with my cam! definetly got to get a cutout fast. After the first test drive though I must say that the sound is very refined. It kinda sounds "tuned" if you know what I mean. So all in all I guess its o.k. its very quiet though. It's quieter than my loudmouth was when I was stock.

At idle the hooker is pretty quiet but its pretty loud at WOT on my car - no where as loud as open headers though . Not much different loudness-wise then the magnaflow I had on it before this one but it has a completely different sound..

I like the "sound" but it is very quiet.Your probably right though, my ears have just been subjected to the loud and harmonious sound of open headers too long. I will probably get used to it soon. I'm definetly getting a cutout asap! As far as power goes, SOTP I think I gained some torque, But it definetly feels corked on top.
