Default Less power after header install??????? PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!

Can anyone help????????? I just had new QTP long tube headers installed....Syatem included an off road Y pipe with cutouts on both sides of the Y pipe....I have to say the sound is mean but the power seems less than stock...... The rest of the exhaust system includes a Borla catback with the largest plate installed. I know that the Borla is doing nothing right now because all the flow is going through the cutout......

Any ideas on how to get the full power gain from the system....thanks all....

Oh yeah, the car is an 01 Z-28....

Same thing happened to me. I went from 13.0 at 111 to 13.1 at 109. Then I stock a big cam in it and it was a whole different story. Sometimes headers cause your car to run too rich. It has to do with the O2 sensor being moved. Have a body with an OBD2 system check out your car.

Are your headers 1-7/8? If so that can cause you to lose bottom end torque. How are your 60' times lookin?

I think they are 1 3/4" and I have not been to track sence the install....times prior to the headers were 12.9 @ 109...So if I did end up getting the 1 7/8" headers I Fu@$Ed up, or is there something that I can do to make things better....other than going to a 396ci.
