Custom camaro ram air
Im sure someone has to have done this before but I cant find anything on it. I was thinking of running intake piping from the two large openings in the front bumper cover into a merge pipe directly into the MAF, filters located at the very front of the intake pipes behind the grill. Has anyone done this? Is it possible?

PepBoys have modular intake piping you can buy to make your own system. They have a picture of a camaro with what looks like to be the same setuo you're talking about. The parts pepboys sell don't look that cheap; i thought i'd never say this, but take a run up there and check it out.

Is this stuff behind the counter? or out in the aisles?

if you get rid of the AIR then you can put cone filters in each space behind the fog lights, get rid of the foglight and you have some bad *** air scoops, my buddy did this on his 2000 V6 back about 7 years ago

the AIR pump that hooks to the cats, the emission crap everyone gets rid of, it hooks to the stock manifolds and pumps in fresh air to bring the cats up to temp for emission purposes, useless basically unless you are in cali

its a nice way to use the stock aerodynamics, perfect scoops that are low to the ground to pick up cool air, alot easier to run piping to them than having to cut out bumper supports

Lots of people (including myself) have done it utilizing the stock filter placement, i can give you some links if you want them. Havent heard of anyone using a setup quite like how you suggested tho. I'd imagine it could be done though. go for it
