Just out of curiosity, those with PS LT's,??
Hey all,
nearly done my PS LT install, and just a quick question. I already searched, and knew I had to block off the flanges on the PS's that would be for AIR/EGR, but just wondering, why in the hell don't the PS LT's actually have threaded flanges for these? Obviously one flange on drivers side, 2 on pass-side, but the old manifold flanges had threaded holes. The PS's came with all the friggin' hardware (crapload of flat washers, lock washers, bolts, nuts) I would imagine they are just nut and bolted together (plate to flange) it just seemed odd to me. Guess thats the way PS's are manfactured. Also, I know that with a threaded hole, the AIR pipe would havebeen torqued to 15ft/lb, but with nuts and bolts, just handtight +a little?? Thanks. I'm almost done, I'd like to finish this project up when I get off of work today.
Peace.
