ls6
I have a 1999 Firebird Formula M6, I was wondering what you guys think my rear wheel horsepower will be with my current mods: SLP catback, LM 1, SLP cold air induction lid flow pack. I want to add a LS6 intake with a ported and polished throttle body with a tune, thanks.

Anyone, I'm going to be getting an Ls6 intake manifold and a ported throttle body. Just want to know what numbers I'm going to be making. I'm guessing 320 hp to the tires, any input would be appreciated. Thank you.

My next 2 mods I did were exactly what you have in mind - LS6 intake manifold and P&P TB. I did the LS6 first and it made a HUGE SOTP difference after 5000rpm to redline. The P&P made the car much more responsive. Both are good must do mods that are worth the $$. Like said about you will probably be sitting with atleast 330rwhp from just these, and 5-10 more depending on how good the tune is.

Re:
Thanks for the info. I plan on doing SLP new design headers in the near future or American racing headers, haven't made up my mind yet, I want to stay legal. How much rear-wheel horsepower can a stock ten bolt handle? Thanks for replying.

I don't know if anyone on here has the new design SLP headers yet. I have the American Racing Headers and they are simply amazing. The slid in like butter and the craftsmenship on them is perfect!!
The stock ten bolt can break on stock power, expecially with a M6. So I would stick with street tires until you can afford a better rear.
