Default is this an LS6 intake

Ok talking to a guy on internet says he has and ls1 intake off of a c5 says it fits 97 to 05 but no egr and also the ribs on underside look like ls6 could this be an ls6 here is a pic of top and bottom

The bottom of the intake tells you in this situation, not the top. They made non EGR LS1 intakes. Get him to tell you the numbers on the intake and that should tell you with a bit of searching.

yeah if the bottom is flat its a ls6 if it has a hump its a ls1.

Agree. Might be an intake off an early model Vette - LS1 with no EGR provision.

LS1 intake. Bottom of LS6 intake as stated is flat, doesn't have a hump. And i don't wanna bash him, but... LS1/6's were made from 97-04.

The bottom of the LS6 intake is flat. The hump resembling a spine in the middle means its an LS1 intake.
