Default FAST 92mm Opened up to 100mm by Vengeance Racing

It is ALOT of work, but it CAN be done

This particular combo is going on a 454 LSX we sent out to a customer a few weeks ago. We are looking forward to some A/B comparisons in the very near future over his current stock 90mm Intake.

Unported with Rev Extreme 100mm Bolted on

Ported with same TB

Ron,

Is the intake 100mm all the way through, or does it still taper down in the back?

Nick,

It still tapers down. We will be doing some testing to see if the work is worth the effort

Shoot me a PM. Got a few things to run by you

Thats a good question. If it does taper, does that help maintain airflow velocity??

Does the 92mm have a larger opening and more base material to port? Or a larger opening to start with, and the same basic max I.D. size as the 90mm?

^ I've seen people put a 100mm on the 90mm version. I'm guessing the same amount of work goes into it.

Is there any new info on this? I have a Rev Extreme 100MM TB about ready to go on a LS7 intake and was curious to see if it could be opened to 100mm as well? Traver

Any results from this? It would be sweet to have a 100mm lid, maff, tb, and intake.
