Default Got my Gibson catback today

Have to say I'm pretty impressed with LMPerformance, I ordered the exhaust yesterday morning and it arrived at 8am today, which was rather suprising but best of all the shipping was free!

Anyway I literally just opened the box, figured I would give you guys some teaser pics. Before anyone asks its the stainless version and I'm hoping to maybe get it on tonight which would = a soundclip.

Random picture of some of the welds.

$467, which seems like a good deal for a stainless catback about the same as the non dual tip magnaflow.

NICE catback. It comes with single double walled tips. I replaced mine with Pypes 6x3 oval tips. Nice sound without being annoying.

Looks good. I have honestly never seen or heard Gibson exhaust on anything except a truck.

Post a sound clip when you get it installed if you can.

it is a chambered concept. It has 2 pressure chambers on each side of a sideways X. There is a picture of the internals at the Gibson website. I noticed a definite throttle increase even down low compared to the stock WS6 exhaust. I was shocked, I didn't think I'd feel a difference.

lol today was full of fail..

Was out driving and a blue plastic newspaper bag like flew up under the car and stuck/melted all over my y-pipe, so tomorrow afternoon I'll prob try and spend some time getting that crap off and installing this catback hopefully.

Put the exhaust on today, it's really quiet compared to the open plate borla I had before I like it. Of course though I have no idea where my camera went but hopefully I'll find it so I can get some pics/video on tues when I have some free time.

Unfortunatly no sound clip for today. After I put it on the other day the I-pipe disconnected from the over the axle section. It happened because we tightened the u-clamp with a wrench vs an impact because it was starting to rain. Then today I didn't have the tools to fix it and decided school work > car, I'm hoping to get to it thursday.

Here's a crappy pic though, the tips are pretty huge (dual 4 inch), I still need to adjust them because they aren't even. I'm also thinking about getting stainless band clamps because I'm not fond of how those U-clamps look from the rear.
