Default who DD w/ their katech tensioner?

i have just recently bought a katech tensioner and was wondering if anyone DD their car with it? it seems that there is only a bolt on the back keeping it tight so the pulley doesnt move, and that kind of makes me worry... also, it comes with a big fat sticker that says off-highway use only... so i was just wondering if anyone has had any problems with it or anything at all. thanks!!

Every day here, avg. 100 miles a day, no worries at all. Far better than the stock unit. Check my post history and you will see how important reliability is to me. Katech's piece is bad ***, no downside.

Man, your turbo setup looks like it is an inch off the ground. Tell me there is more clearance.

Daily Drive here with my Katech. The reason I went with this tentioner was at the time, it was the only way to get a pulley with higher lips to prevent the belt from slipping.

With my stock tentioner/pulley the belt kept walking off the damn pulley.

So yeah, Katech puts that sticker on there for 'off road use only'. I dont get why. I feel much safer knowing that the serp. belt won't go flying off when DD and WOT with this pulley over stock.

lol... well its more like 3" off the ground, haha.... but i havent had any problems with it. The exhaust shop did a shitty job on getting good clearance, but there is still plenty of room left for the turbo to go up. I also just got some new springs/shocks that should lift the car up a little as well.... every bit helps!

I daily drive mine with a Katech tensioner. If you torque the bolt to spec you won't have a problem.

Add me to the list also. Hell, the instructions even say no forced inductions applications should use the tensioner. So far so good. I got mine back in 2006.
