Default figuring out old motor issues.

Hey guys,

My 402 LSX build is just about complete. I'm waiting on a new Spec III+ clutch and Billet flywheel. Anyhow, I'm trying to sort out some loose ends on the original 346 that went so wrong.

I am thinking there were some bad fuel injectors that starved the motor of proper performance (fuel). Spanning from this issue was bad piston rings from the factory which caused a oil burn and blow by problem. Aided by the addition of LS6 heads and a new cam and headers. Inevitably, this all transpired to power loss upon heavy acceleration.

Does anyone think my thought process is correct?

Thanks,
Dan
