Default Which Thermostat ... 160 or 180?

Searched and read numerous answers. I need a replacement T-stat and I've always used the 160* Hypertech ... had two of them stick on me over the past few years ... would I be better off just buying a 180* one at Autozone for cheap?

If you are somewhere that snows frequently in the winter then I would go 180 IMO.

By the looks of your sig, it looks like you are modded. I say stick with the 160. Use a 180 on a stock long block.

My fans are tuned to come on at 160* I believe ... so, I just now ordered a 180* Hypertech ... guess that's the one I'll be going with ... thanks for all the advice, fellows.
