Default header choice?

Hello, i recently got a 99 TA and i'm planning a few I/E mods. as far as headers go i'm wondering about the EGR and AIR connections. if i buy a racing header with no hook-ups for these will there be driveability concerns? other then just the SES coming on? If these are removed would they need to be tuned out? also i really don't have alot of money so i'm looking to get either pacesetter or flowtech painted headers. but i will be eventually moving down to FL for college so i was wondering how much the extra heat will affect performance. Also after I/E is done i may consider a small dry nitrous setup. would i be ok with painted headers, or with FL heat and N20 in mind would it be worth the money to get them coated? also if i need coated headers could i get away with a painted y-pipe to cut costs?

Sorry if i sound like a newbie, i've had a v6 firebird for awhile but i kinda just bought parts randomly for it, and this time i want to plan everything out, and be 100% sure of everything.

egr and air removal does not affect reliability or driveability, they will need to be tuned out or the SES will come on, plus it cleans up the engine bay

As far as the headers, some people are going with the stainless steel headers off ebay for about the same price as Pacesetters.
