Default TSP Carbon Lid question

Is this actual carbon fiber or is it "carbon look"?

While I am here do the clear lids discolor at all?

thank you,
Chad

It's a carbon look. Real CF would be hundreds of dollars.

Would this lid really out perform my current SLP lid? Would it be worth spending another 150 on it?

That's what I Figured.
Real CF doesn't have to be expensive. All depends on who is making it,how well it's being done and how many get made.I have a complete lower fairing on my bike that cost me $400 shipped all the way from Japan. It's considerably larger than a lid and alot more complex.

Anyway, Thank you very much for your quick reply!

No it's not worth spending another $150 for a couple hp. I'm not a fan of slp at all but their lid is fine.

I just bought this CF lid and whatever it is made of, it is well made and very sturdy. It sounds great too.

What do you mean by "sounds great"?
