Default WS6 Formula

Hey everyone. I just left the dragstip and was kinda suprised at my Formula. It's a 00 WS6 6 speed car. When I first got the car I took it to the strip and ran consistant 13.2-13.3 in the quarter on street tires. Now the car has SLP long tube's, high flow cat's, GMMG cat back, LS6 intake with egr, 160 thermostat, GM hot cam with 1.8 rockers and street tune from XXX motorsports. The car is now running 13.5's. This don't seem to make sense to me. What do guy's think?

Thanks,
Ben

if you can't get it all to the ground from a dead stop, you're not going to improve other than a higher speed. If you're spinning all over the place, that would definitely explain everything. Especially if you noticed gains throughout your entire modifications.

I'm running the Scropion 1.8 rockers. Reaction times where .6-.8's and 60ft was 1.68-1.9. I was getting very little tire spin. Checked codes this morning and the heater element on one of the O2's wasn't working properly when cold and Knock Sensor/low Circuit Voltage. I don't think the O2 heater element would affect it once the car is at temp, but I'm not sure about the KS. Any help on that is appreciated. Thanks.

I had a scan tool hooked up to the car and watched for any spark knock. Nothing showed. Would the computer go into a "limp mode" and go ahead and take the timming out so that it don't knock?

lts have a tendency to do that. the knock sensors will retard timing and dump fuel in to eliminate what it assumes is detonation.
