Default header ?

those of you who have ceramicoated headers on your daily driver.... how long do they last? I'm about to get a set of hooker LT's but someone told me they will rust through in a year even coated!

i may have to drive on salted roads also and make many short trips that may not dry out the condensation

is stainless really my only durable option?

I have stainless but my bro has coated and they last way more than a year. You really shouldnt have any issues as long as you keep them clean

try the jethot LT's, same design as the hooker but the o2 sensor bung is moved to the inside and there is a thicker mounting flange and cleaner welds, and they are coated inside and out for longer protection, one happy jethot customer here

I have Hooker Super comp ceramic coated LT's, put them on in Dec. 06, starting to get surface rust on them now. (Barely drive the car from Dec - March)

I have coated Pacesetter LT's. I put them on less than a year ago and only put about 300 miles on since then. They're already showing surface rust.

I would go ahead and get the stainless now. They'll last much longer for how you'll be using them.
