Default Anyone run this 80mm throttle body?

Saw this tb and it's a pretty good price. A buddy of mine told me it's pretty close to the bbk and it may be a bbk without the name on it. I'm about to order it but just wanted to get some final impute before ordering. What do you guys think? And should I get it with a 80 or 85 mm opening for down the road upgrades? Either way comes with the transition plate.

It looks like the Professional Products tb. I bought one (80mm) and installed
it this weekend on my LS6 manifold. I dremeled out the lip that holds the stock O-ring and reinstalled. I'm just getting ready to scan and datalog to see
how much to rescale the injectors.

Don't get the 85mm unless you want to extend the throttle cable.

I just got an 85mm and did not have to extend the throttle cable. I was worried about idle issues with a "cheap" aftermarket TB but have had no problems thus far. I probably didn't gain much over the ported TB that I had before but I got it for cheap and will help when I get a new manifold.

I was going to get one of these but I read a post thats says the bigger TB will cause the airflow to disrupt on a stock intake.

I don't know if it's true or not.

That is a professional products T.B. The BBK looks a little thicker.

There are a few of the sponcers that sell them. You can also get them on ebay. I have a bbk 80mm if any one is interested I am fixing to go bigger when I change intakes. It has been polished on the outside and looks awesome.

Looks identical to the Summit brand one also. I got the 85mm and ported and polished it (Same procedure as stock, why they cast a new TB with the same bump is beyopnd me).
