??? about AIR removal

Default ??? about AIR removal

i am in the process of doing my header swap and the first thing i am starting to do is remove the AIR equipment, there is a pump near the back of the drivers side over the intake manifold that has a vacuum hose for it, can i remove this pump? what do i do with the vacuum just close it up?

Just cap it off with a vacuum cap, you find an assortment of them at most auto parts stores.

jsut pull the pump off and get a screw to plug the hose

yank that bitch. Useless if you're deleting EGR and emissions codes, Take off the lower panels under the front of the drivers side, unscrew i think 3 screws and take off all of the plugs and tubing. Just dead weight.

Use electric tape at the ends of the plugs so they dont get wet and short something
