No, put them on now!!! The car should have already been jacked up with the old stuff off, waiting for the ups truck!

You will love long tube headers.... Good luck on the install.

Clean those babies up, I went to home depot and bought coarse, medium, and extra fine sanding pads....Man do they come out looking good. I have some pics, except cardomain is crapping out right now, i'll try to get some up for you.

BTW with the install, so far I have everything off that need to be off, except for the oil drain plug, it seems as if Pontiac tightened it to 1000lbs of torque!!!! I can't get the damn thing loose, so for now I just removed the filter so I can take off the dipstick.

Good luck, and if you have any questions about the install please PM me or e-mail me, I would love to help someone out, espcially with all the help I got today from the Tech members

I'm gonna go up to the store today and pick some cleaing supplies up and polish them babies up.... I gots to have the "bling"

Is there anyway to get around having to remove the drain plug and filter on the install at all? If not it's alright I'll just have to make a special trip to get another filter

Yeah its an absolute must, only reason why is because you need to remove the oil dipstick. There is a 15mm bolt between header #2 and #3 I believe on the passenger side, take that bolt out and wiggle the dipstick out.
