Default TSP TD's

Anyone have an experience with these? Or pictures? Im trying to get mine on, and its a pain in the ***. Once I get the first pipes on the collectors, which have to be beaten on btw, I cant adjust them. I have used wd40 to an extreme. What do I do?

I have never had trouble with their headers at all. We have done several setups as well. Sometimes the pipe that fits over the collector isnt bumped up enough so just run it to an exhaust shop and they will bump it up a bit for ya. They never charge me to do small stuff like that either. TSP products def kick ***

Yea just push them in there the best you can at the collectors. As you get farther back and the exhaust turns they do not go in all the way. At least mine didnt. I know the back of the X on the pass. side was only about half in the get that curve and to make sure everything was straight.

Well it just wont go on the collector and the rest of the system wont line up because of this. Im worried about if I ever need to take it off, how the hell am I supposed to get it off of the collector? Like I need to do a tranny swap here in a couple of weeks.

It is a total pain in the ***, I have kooks and they were a pain to put together. It took a lot of yanking and a rubber mallet. What headers do you have?

I tried to get mine welded everywhere but the collectors but no exhaust shop around here would weld it since its not legal. If it doesnt have cats they aren't allowed to touch it I guess.

I had the same problem. The TSP pipes and the Pacesetter collectors were the same size, instead of the TSP pipes slipping over the collector, so the hangers were 2 or 3 inches away from where they were supposed to be (in the air, instead of right on the chassis).

I ended up taking it to a exhaust shop and the guy put the pipes together as snug as possible, clamped it really good, then cut the hangers, welded them to the mufflers, then welded them to where the seat belts bolt on to the chassis. I'm pretty sure I could just undo the seat belts and the hangers would come right off.

If I had more time though, I would've gone to the store and gotten a pipe expander. Now if I want to take off the exhaust, I have to get a torx bit for the seat belt screw and put something under the mufflers for when they fall down.

Yea, I ended up taking it to a shop today and they put it all on for $50. They left me to bolt the hangers though. They used a small self tapping screw temporarily until I can get under the car. It sounds really good though. Its actually kind of quiet until you get it above 2500 or so. But it may just be that I have been driving with open headers for a week too :-). And it does hang quite low also, but Im stock height so I will just have to be careful. I will see what I can do to get some pictures up later.
