Default fab stock cats to a 3" y-pipe

has anyone ever fabbed up stock cats to a 3" y-pipe and how did you do it?

I have never seen/heard of it. any reason why you wanna put stock cats and not aftermarket/highflow ones? also, I think the stock cats would be somewhat of a bottleneck on the 3" exhaust considering the stock exhaust is smaller.......

the only reason is the save some dough. are there any cheap 3" cats out there?

i was hoping to get something of more the traditional "box" shape for when my car gets inspected in cali, but im just going to say f*** it right now, the thunderbolts are looking really nice and compact!

dude in cali, anytime you move factory components from their original location you are gonna fail, lets call it 98% of the time
