Question Where can i find Stock LS1 Motor Mounts for 99 Trans am ?

Where can i find The Stock motor Mounts for my LS2 402cid engine ? this is going in my 99 Trans am so i want it to be the same motor mount as stock .. i dont want to have to modify things ect ..

These are not stock, they are polyurethane replacements, but no modifications should be needed:

thanks again thou but how are these replacements ? they dont come with the clam shell at all ? can ibuy them like that or not ?

Anyone have the part # for factory replacements GM part #??? , thanks

they use the factory clamshells... basically the clamshells come apart and you take the stock rubber inserts out and put the poly ones in their place...

to be honest if your in there... it's in your best interest to go ahead and put the poly ones in... they are much better than the stock rubber ones and if you ever plan on installing headers in your car they'll knock out the problem of the banging Y-pipe...

Question

SO how do you take the clam shells apart ? do you have to drill the pop rivits out ? and how do you put them back together ?

Are these a direct fit ? or is there faburcating needed ?

no fabbing, drill the rivets out, seperate them and screw them back together. it's a painless job

ok cool where can i get them and about how much for both ? , but what kinda of screws do you perfer to use ?

I have a set that I didn't use on my Chevelle swap.. they were from a 99 Z28.. if you want them, make me a stupid offer (Beer and Hamburger $ ?) and shipping, and they are yours..

Everything between the plate of the mount on the engine to the frame.. bolt and nut too !
