Default Thanks for your opinions, what about air out now.....

Now I'm trying to find the body shop to do the paint, as I said the car is covered in my Garage, not a scratch so I can get my figures together, it still looks like the Raptors got me by the chingaso's.
Ok, now I also have a 52 chevy truck w/ 300 H.p. 327, cherry red,350 auto, 77 nova front w/ power steering with Pete Jackson gears and flow masters.
I want to cruise w/ the T's off, Pink floyd (dark side of the moon) in the Monsoon and here myself talk without YELLING!!!!!, I'm thinking Hooker ceramics, long pipes, but what Exhaust ??????
What about cats+-? is there a (semi Legal) diversion?
we don't have emission inpection here but it's coming I'm sure in the future.

Thanks, Max /
god bless this country, what a country

i have flow masters and its not loud untill you get on it, but it doesnt perform to well. From what ive heard magnaflow is a good quiet exhaust till you get on it, and it has a deep rumble to it at idle.

There are a lot of different Magnaflow mufflers. I have the 16" case 3" single in and out stainless steel with 3" cores, part #17792 from this site
http://www.a-1performance.com/super_...lers_page4.htm
This muffler sounds fine to me at cruising but scare-the-neighbors loud when I'm on the throttle. Conversation at WOT is not possible. A longer case like the 20" case would be quieter and would flow about the same, which is to say, they flow as much as any reasonably quiet street muffler you can buy.

If you have a pre-cats car you dont need cats...in Most areas anything from years before cats are not required to have them...even custom jobs...as long as the body is pre-cats. A buddy of mine has a 71 'cuda(too much weight..although...it looks pretty dam cool) that he put an ls1 into and he isn't required to have any cats.
